Alloa Athletic and Livingston are joint top of Ladbrokes League 1 after winning their games on Saturday.

Alloa came from behind to beat Queen's Park 2-1 at Hampden thanks to late goals from Greig Spence (penalty) and Iain Flannigan after Ross Millen had converted a spot-kick to give the Spiders the lead.

Livingston knocked Brechin City off the summit by ending their unbeaten run at the Tony Macaroni Arena. Danny Mullen and Scott Pittman were on target in a 2-1 victory before Alan Trouten pulled one back.

East Fife and Airdrieonians remain separated only by goal difference after a 1-1 draw at the Excelsior Stadium. Kevin Smith opened the scoring but Iain Russell equalised for the Diamonds from the penalty spot on the hour mark.

Stranraer leapfrogged Albion Rovers with a 3-2 success at Stair Park. A Craig Thomson double and a Mark McGuigan goal had the Blues in command but Ross Stewart and Paul Willis's late penalty reduced the deficit.

Bottom club Stenhousemuir hit back to draw 2-2 with Peterhead at Ochilview with second-half goals from Jamie McCormack and Fraser Kerr after Nicky Riley and Kevin Dzierzawski had scored for the Blue Toon in the first half.
