Arbroath closed the gap on Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Forfar Athletic to five points by beating Berwick Rangers 4-1 at Gayfield.
Michael McKenna opened the scoring but Ryan McCord (2), Martin Scott and Gavin Malin all struck in the second half for the Red Lichties.
Forfar Athletic were held to a 1-1 draw by Stirling Albion. The Binos went ahead through Darren Smith but David Cox equalised before half-time at Station Park.
Third-placed Elgin City defeated Annan Athletic 3-2 at Borough Briggs thanks to first-half goals from Brian Cameron, Shane Sutherland and Chris McLeish. New signings Peter Weatherson and Smart Osadolor reduced the deficit but Elgin held on.
The games at Clyde and Cowdenbeath were postponed due to frozen pitches.
