Arbroath have signed midfielder Mark Whatley from Lowland League champions Spartans.
The former Raith Rovers player makes the move to Gayfield as boss Paul Sheerin prepares for life in League 2 following relegation.
Sheerin said: "Mark is a great footballer who will fit into our way of playing and will get goals."
