Ayr beat Hibs as QOS go top

Ayr United came from behind to end Hibernian's 100% record in the Ladbrokes Championship with a 2-1 win at Easter Road on Saturday.

Hibs looked on course for a sixth straight success when Jason Cummings struck in 50 minutes but Marvin Bartley was sent off midway through the second half and Ian McCall's men took full advantage thanks to goals from Conrad Balatoni and Brian Gilmour.

Queen of the South are the new leaders thanks to a 3-1 win over Raith Rovers at Palmerston. All the goals came in the second half, with Stephen Dobbie bagging a double and Dean Brotherston also on target for QOS before Jean-Yves Mvoto pulled one back.

Falkirk beat Dundee United 3-1 in the late game. Tope Obadeyi cancelled out John Baird's opener but Myles Hippolyte and Lee Miller struck in the closing minutes at the Falkirk Stadium.

Jai Quitongo scored late on as Morton defeated Dunfermline Athletic 2-1 at Cappielow to claim their first win of the season after Nicky Clark had cancelled out Gary Oliver's opener

Bottom club St Mirren hit back for a 1-1 draw away to Dumbarton - Andy Stirling opened the scoring for the Sons but Ryan Hardie equalised before the break.
