Ayr United have signed Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna on a three-month loan deal as new manager Ian McCall continues to strengthen his squad.
McCall, whose side moved out of the bottom two in League 1 with a 4-1 win at Stirling Albion last weekend, travel to Peterhead on Saturday.
He told the Ayr website: "I am delighted to get Scott as there were numerous clubs interested in him. I've watched him twice in recent weeks and he is very highly rated. He really impressed me and is a big strong defender who is good on the ball."
