Dunfermline were knocked off the summit after being held to a 0-0 draw by Cowdenbeath in the local derby at Central Park.

Albion Rovers remain in third place following a 1-1 draw with Airdrieonians in the Lanarkshire derby at the Excelsior Stadium. Bryan Prunty put the Diamonds in front but Ally Love equalised before half-time. Rovers striker John Gemmell was sent off in injury time.

Stenhousemuir staged a remarkable comeback to beat Peterhead 4-3 at Ochilview as they leapfrogged the Blue Toon. Rory McAllister hit a first-half hat-trick, one a penalty, but Colin McMenamin pulled one back before the break. A Jason Scotland double and a Kieran Millar goal completed the turnaround and the visitors had Cammy Kerr dismissed in stoppage time.

Bottom club Brechin City won 1-0 against Forfar at Station Park. Andy Jackson got the winner midway through the second half on a day when the home side had Derek Young and Thomas O'Brien sent off.
