Bain signs new Dundee deal

Dundee have announced that goalkeeper Scott Bain has signed a new contract that will keep him at Dens Park until 2018.

The 23-year-old ex-Aberdeen player had three successful years at Alloa before re-joining his former boss Paul Hartley at the start of the season.

Bain has been in excellent form since replacing Kyle Letheren as the No 1 at Dens Park and the Dark Blues are just two points outside the Premiership top six as the split approaches.

Managing Director John Nelms told the club website: “We are very happy to have a young talent like Scott Bain commit his future to us as we continue to build for a long and bright future for Dundee Football Club.”
