Defender David Bates scored the only goal with five minutes left while it finished 0-0 between Aberdeen and Hibernian at Pittodrie. 

Steven MacLean signed off in style in his last game for St Johnstone, scoring a hat-trick in a 5-1 thrashing of Motherwell at Fir Park, while Dundee are all but safe after a 1-0 victory over Hamilton Accies at Dens Park.

Champions Celtic are away to Hearts on Sunday, live on BT Sport at 12.15pm.
