The Betfred Cup begins on Friday when Ayr United and Kilmarnock meet in a Group E tie at Somerset Park, live on BT Sport at 7.45pm.
Rory McKenzie scored the only goal when the sides last met - in a League Cup tie at Rugby Park in August 2014 in front of almost 9,000 fans.
Another big crowd is expected for the first Ayrshire derby at Somerset Park since 2009 as Ian McCall's League 1 side play host to Lee McCulloch's Premiership team.
