Stirling Albion will interview candidates later this week for the managerial vacancy at Forthbank.
The League 1 club received around 35 applications for the post and drew up a shortlist at the weekend.
Senior players Darren Smith and Ross Forsyth took charge of Saturday's 2-2 draw with Airdrieonians following the resignation of Greig McDonald in the wake of the 4-0 defeat to Stenhousemuir on October 18.
Stirling's next match is a William Hill Scottish Cup third-round tie away to Hurlford on Saturday.
