Peterhead moved into the play-off places in Ladbrokes League 1 with a 2-0 win over Forfar Athletic at Station Park on Tuesday night.

Jordon Brown gave Jim McInally's men the lead towards the end of the first half and Jamie Stevenson added a late second goal as the Blue Toon climbed to fourth place in the table.

Forfar stay seventh but are now without a win in 10 league games since beating Brechin City 2-0 on September 12.

Meanwhile, Queen's Park are up to second in Ladbrokes League 2 following their 2-0 win over East Fife at Bayview.

Second-half goals from Gavin Mitchell and Paul Woods means Gus MacPherson's side are just two points behind leaders Annan Athletic, who have a game in hand.
