Cowdenbeath have appointed former Livingston and Airdrieonians boss Gary Bollan as their new manager.
The 44-year-old parted company with Forfar Athletic earlier this season and replaces Billy Brown, who left Central Park last month. Cowdenbeath are bottom of Ladbrokes League 2 and host Annan Athletic on Saturday in a game brought forward from December 30.
Chairman Donald Findlay told the club website: “I am really glad to be able to now confirm Gary’s appointment as our new manager. He has an absolute wealth of experience and great knowledge of the players and teams in our division and above.
“He also very much has a proven track record. He really impressed at interview by setting out clearly his plans for the club and his determination to succeed.”
