Falkirk coach Dale Brooks has left the Championship side on the eve of the league season starting to become the head coach of Norwich City’s under-21 side.
Brooks joined the Bairns last summer when he left Carrow Road to join up with Gary Holt however he has now made the same return journey as Holt who was recently appointed as a coach to Canaries first team boss Neil Adams.
Englishman Brooks has been given the title of Senior Professional Development Coach and he faces a baptism of fire at his new club as they take on Manchester United in their first Barclays Under-21 Premier League game on Friday, August 15.
Falkirk Technical Director Alex Smith said: “This is a move that Dale has been considering for some time now. He has enjoyed it here however the job at Norwich is a big one and eventually the pull of it was too strong.”
“He leaves here with our best wishes and thanks for his hard work.”
