Livingston have parted company with manager Mark Burchill, who had been in charge for 12 months since replacing John McGlynn.
The 35-year-old former Scotland striker kept the West Lothian club in the Championship last season and led them to silverware with a 4-0 win over Alloa in the Petrofac Training Cup final.
Livingston currently occupy the relegation play-off place following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Dumbarton and face a St Mirren team just above them in Paisley on Boxing Day.
A statement on the club website read: "Livingston Football Club regretfully announce that Mark Burchill has been relieved of his managerial duties with immediate effect and will serve out the remaining period of his contract on gardening leave.
"The club would like to thank Mark for his hard work, contribution and past achievements. The club will be making no further comment at this stage."
