Inverness CT can look forward to European football for the first time in their history after securing third place in the Scottish Premiership.

Edward Ofere's early goal was enough to give John Hughes' team a 1-0 win over Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday.

Dundee United remain in fourth spot, ahead of St Johnstone on goal difference, after a 1-1 draw at McDiarmid Park. John Rankin gave United the lead midway through the second half but Murray Davidson levelled matters with 13 minutes left.

Ross County remain in play-off danger after losing 2-1 at home to relegated St Mirren. Martin Woods' penalty put the Staggies in front but Stevie Mallan equalised and Steven Thompson converted a last-minute penalty after County keeper Mark Brown was sent off.

Substitute Greg Docherty scored a late leveller as Hamilton Accies hit back for a 1-1 draw against Partick Thistle, who had gone ahead at New Douglas Park through Stephen O’Donnell.
