Hibernian supporters have a chance to show they really can “Keep Up with the Kids” following the launch of Petrofac’s brand new half-time challenge.
Set for the Petrofac Training Cup tie between Hibs and Rangers on Saturday July 25, the brand new competition will pit one daring dad or magnificent mum against their cool kid in an all-new assault course – on the pitch at Easter Road!
Bad news for the adults though – the odds are stacked heavily in favour of the youngsters!
Scottish football has NEVER seen anything like this before.
Here’s how it works:
- One lucky winner will be selected to take on a child (aged 8-12) at half-time when Hibs welcome Rangers to Easter Road July 25, kick-off 12.30pm
- Both the winning adult and their child will take on our “Keep Up with the Kids” assault course
- Starting on the halfway line, the carefree contestants will dribble the ball, crawl through a giant net, take on some top football tricks, go round the bend (pole) 10 times and then score from the penalty spot
- The first one to finish – blasting our Petrofac Ball gong – will win a home shirt
There’s a twist though – the adult’s course comes with more challenges than you might expect because this really is “The Parent Trap”.
Both adult and child will receive a ticket to watch the game, with their starring moment coming during the interval.
