Celtic moved seven points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership with a 3-1 win over Hearts at Parkhead on Saturday.

Jamie Walker fired the visitors in front early on but Gary Mackay-Steven equalised soon after and a double from Patrick Roberts either side of half-time sealed the win for Ronny Deila's men. Hearts had Juwon Oshaniwa sent off in stoppage time for a second yellow card.

Motherwell are up to fourth place after beating Inverness CT 2-1 at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Marvin Johnson got the winner deep into stoppage time after an Iain Vigurs penalty had cancelled out Lionel Ainsworth's 62nd-minute opener.

Dundee leapfrogged Ross County to move into the top six thanks to a 5-2 victory at Dens Park. Greg Stewart grabbed a double for the Dark Blues, with Kane Hemmings, Rory Loy and Craig Wighton also on target. Andrew Davies and Alex Schalk netted for the visitors.

Ryan Dow scored the only goal midway through the first half as Dundee United beat St Johnstone 1-0 at McDiarmid Park, despite having Coll Donaldson sent off on the hour mark, to boost their hopes of avoiding the drop.

They are now five points behind second-bottom Kilmarnock, who drew 0-0 at Partick Thistle.
