Celtic are in action this evening when they face Qarabag of Azerbaijan in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
Ronny Deila's side overcame Stjarnan of Iceland 6-1 on aggregate at the previous stage, while Qarabag got the better of Rudar Pljevlja of Montenegro, edging through 1-0.
Deila told the club website: "Qarabag haven’t been here before so that is an advantage for us. We have to put on our best performance and show how good a team we can be.
“We are ready to face this challenge and we know it is going to be tough, but we also know that we have the experience and the quality in the team to make it.”
The second leg goes ahead next Wednesday, August 5, with a place in the play-off round of the Champions League on offer.
