Celtic kicked off their Europa League campaign with a 2-2 draw against Ajax in the Amsterdam ArenA on Thursday evening.
Ronny Deila's men took an early lead through Nir Bitton and Mikael Lustig had them back in front before half-time after Viktor Fischer had equalised for Frank de Boer's team.
Celtic had Emilio Izaguirre sent off for a second booking with 15 minutes left and substitute Lasse Schone beat Craig Gordon with an 84th-minute free-kick to level the tie.
There was a surprise result in the other Group A fixture as Fenerbahce - who visit Parkhead in a fortnight - lost 3-1 at home to Norwegian side Molde.
