Stefan Scepovic was unveiled by Celtic on Tuesday evening after sealing a deadline-day switch from Sporting Gijon.
The 24-year-old Serbia striker, who has also played in Belgium and Israel, has signed a four-year deal at Parkhead.
Celtic assistant boss John Collins told the club website: "He’s good in the air and attacks crosses so he gives us another option. His goalscoring record is very good, as his stats will tell you, and that includes creating goals as well. It’s competition for places at the top of the pitch and that’s what we want."
Scepovic added: "I don't like to speak about me but I will try to bring something different. I like balls into space and movement but I need to come into the team and do what the coach says."
