+ Rangers won 5-4 on penalties in April's Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden. It finished 2-2 after extra time, with Kenny Miller and Barrie McKay scoring for Rangers and Erik Sviatchenko and Tom Rogic netting for Celtic.
+ Celtic were 2-0 winners in the League Cup semi-final at Hampden in February 2015 thanks to first-half goals from Leigh Griffiths and Kris Commons.
+ The most recent league meeting between the teams was in April 2012 when Charlie Mulgrew, Kris Commons and Gary Hooper netted in a 3-0 victory for Celtic at Parkhead.
+ Rangers' last success at Celtic Park came in October 2010 when Kenny Miller scored twice in a 3-1 win after Gary Hooper's opening goal had been cancelled out by a Glenn Loovens own goal.
+ In 2011/12, all four Glasgow derbies in the SPL were won by the home side - it was 4-2 and 3-2 for Rangers at Ibrox and 1-0 and 3-0 for Celtic at Parkhead.
+ Only one of the last 19 meetings has finished in a 0-0 draw - at Ibrox in April 2011.
+ In season 2000/01, Celtic won the first derby match 6-2 at Parkhead with goals from Chris Sutton (2), Henrik Larsson (2), Stiliyan Petrov and Paul Lambert but Rangers responded by winning 5-1 at Ibrox three months later. Their scorers were Barry Ferguson, Tore-Andre Flo, Ronald de Boer, Lorenzo Amoruso and Michael Mols.
+ There has not been a hat-trick in this fixture since 1983/84, when Ally McCoist netted a treble as Rangers won 3-2 in the League Cup final. The last Celtic player to score an Old Firm hat-trick was Harry Hood in the 1973/74 League Cup semi-final, which Celtic won 3-1.
