Dundee moved two points clear at the top of the Championship after beating Cowdenbeath 4-0 at Dens Park on Saturday.

Craig Wighton scored an early opener and Martin Boyle bagged a double, with Jim McAlister also on target.

Hamilton were knocked off the summit after being held to a 1-1 draw at Livingston. Accies had Stephen Hendrie sent off and fell behind to a Keaghan Jacobs goal but Jason Scotland levelled late on.

Falkirk remain just four points off the pace thanks to a 2-1 victory over Queen of the South at Palmerston. Blair Alston and Mark Beck netted for the Bairns before Gavin Reilly pulled one back but Queens couldn't take advantage of a red card for Jonny Flynn.

Morton's relegation was confirmed by a 2-0 defeat against Alloa - Kevin Cawley and Ryan McCord got the goals at Recreation Park.

Dumbarton are now outside the promotion play-offs only on goal difference after beating Raith Rovers 3-1 at Stark's Park. Mark Gilhaney, Mitch Megginson and Colin Nish were on target for the Sons before Gordon Smith reduced the deficit. Dougie Hill then saw red for Raith.
