Falkirk leapfrogged Dundee to go top of the Scottish Championship with a 2-0 win over the Dark Blues on Saturday.

Conor McGrandles and Rory Loy got the goals at The Falkirk Stadium as Gary Holt’s team moved to the summit on goal difference.

Hamilton Accies, in third spot, went down 4-3 to Cowdenbeath in an incredible game at New Douglas Park. Doubles from Greg Stewart and Kane Hemmings had the Blue Brazil four goals ahead and they held on despite a brace from Tony Andreu and a James Keatings penalty.

The match between Morton and Queen of the South at Cappielow was abandoned due to the tragic death of a spectator.

Two games were postponed due to waterlogged pitches – Dumbarton v Livingston and Raith Rovers v Alloa.
