Annan moved level on points with fourth-placed Clyde thanks to a 3-2 win at Broadwood. Aidan Smith grabbed a late winner after Peter MacDonald, one a penalty, and David McKenna had both scored doubles.
Edinburgh City beat Berwick Rangers 3-1 at Shielfield to climb to sixth spot. City were two goals up inside three minutes through Chris McKee and Dougie Gair then Craig Beattie converted a penalty before Jordyn Sheerin pulled one back for Berwick, who are now bottom.
Cowdenbeath moved off the foot of the table with a 2-1 success at Stirling Albion. Lewis Moore scored the winner after Dylan Nguene Bikey had cancelled out Kris Renton's opener.
