Motherwell boss Ian Baraclough has made David Clarkson his second summer signing following the recent arrival of Joe Chalmers from Celtic.
The 29-year-old began his career at Fir Park but moved to Bristol City in 2009 and also played for Bristol Rovers before joining Dundee last season.
Clarkson told the Motherwell website: "I had a meeting with the gaffer and the staff and they told me the way they want to take the club forward - that is something I want to be part of.”
