Clyde are moving closer to appointing a new manager following the recent departure of Jim Duffy to Morton.
Club secretary Gordon Thomson told the official website: "We've been speaking formally to interested candidates in recent days and will continue to do so this week.
"The board continues to be impressed by the calibre of applicants and our priority remains to find the best person for the role."
