Celtic forward Kris Commons has been voted SPFL Player of the Month for December after a series of impressive performances for the Parkhead club.
The former Derby County player scored in the Premiership victories over Motherwell, Hearts and Inverness CT and also netted a hat-trick in the 7-0 Scottish Cup triumph at Tynecastle.
He told the Celtic website: "I think it’s the first award I have won for the month, so it was good. Against Hearts and Motherwell we played really well, the clean sheet record speaks for itself, and going forward we have scored a hatful of goals.
"Coming off the back of being knocked out of the Champions League it gave the supporters something to cheer about as well."
