The SPFL has today unveiled the fixture lists for the upcoming 2015/16 Ladbrokes Premiership, Ladbrokes Championship, Ladbrokes League 1 and Ladbrokes League 2 seasons.
The Ladbrokes Premiership season kicks off on Saturday, 1 August and the other three leagues follow a week later with certain fixtures subject to movement pending TV selections.
The fixtures announcements triggers the countdown to the new Scottish league football campaign in partnership with Ladbrokes, announced as the SPFL’s new title sponsor earlier this summer.

Neil Doncaster, SPFL chief executive, said: “Today is a key moment in the Scottish football calendar when supporters of all 42 clubs look ahead to a new season with great anticipation, excitement and hope.
“We are absolutely delighted to make today’s announcements in conjunction with our new title sponsor Ladbrokes and look forward to a new season of entertainment and drama across all four leagues.”
The season kicks off with the four reigning champions at home and all 42 clubs will benefit from a home match on one of the key festive dates of December 26 or January 2 (again, fixtures subject to movement pending TV selections).
Those Boxing Day fixtures include a Glasgow v Edinburgh double header of Hearts v Celtic and Rangers v Hibernian, while there are a number of derbies scheduled for the first match-day of the New Year. In the Ladbrokes Championship, the Renfrewshire derby returns to the Scottish league football calendar for the first time since 1999/2000.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “This is an exciting moment for our partnership with the SPFL and one of the most anticipated announcements in the Scottish footballing calendar.
“There are some fantastic fixtures lined up and we look forward to being at the heart of Scottish football throughout the season.”
