League 1 Ayr United have signed Motherwell defender Adam Cummins on loan for a month.
The 21-year-old has made a total of 33 appearances for the Fir Park side but spent time on loan at Dundee last season and was hampered by injuries earlier this term.
Cummins told the Motherwell website: "It’s been a hugely frustrating time for me of late, so I am looking forward to going out on loan and, hopefully, playing some games.
“I am looking forward to the challenge that playing for Ayr United will bring. They are only a few points off a play-off spot, so if I can help in any way that will work for everyone."
Cummins could make his debut for Mark Roberts' side against Forfar at Station Park on Saturday.
