St Johnstone midfielder Murray Davidson has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The former Livingston player suffered a torn patellar tendon in the first half of Saturday's 3-3 draw with Hearts at McDiarmid Park.
Manager Tommy Wright told the club website: "Murray will bounce back but sadly not this season. He came down on one leg and knew he had a problem right away.
“It’s desperately disappointing for him, as he was on a good run of form and he’s a popular lad at the club. However, it’s part and parcel of football and we’ll just have to soldier on without him.”
