Dundee United have announced the signing of central defender Coll Donaldson on a three-year deal from Queens Park Rangers.
The 20-year-old former Livingston player, who moved to the London club in January 2014, joins fellow centre-half Mark Durnan (Queen of the South) at Tannadice.
Manager Jackie McNamara told the club website: "I am really delighted with this capture - Coll is an excellent defender. He is skilful, physical and quick and will add to the competition amongst our defenders.
“We are extremely fortunate that he was available and it was important that we got him signed up before others were aware of him. United fans will enjoy watching him play.”
Donaldson added: "The manager’s desire to sign me, and his vision for taking the club forward, convinced me this was the right place to enhance my development and improve as a player."
