St Mirren stay top despite seeing their winning start ended by Hibernian, who triumphed 2-1 at the Paisley 2021 Stadium, while second-placed Ross County also dropped their first points in a 4-2 home defeat by Dunfermline Athletic, for whom Lewis Spence scored twice.
 
Dylan Mackin set Motherwell on their way to a 3-0 win against Dundee United at the Excelsior Stadium while Hamilton Accies defeated Dundee 2-0 at Links Park.
 
Rangers ran out 2-1 winners against bottom club Inverness Caley Thistle at Forthbank and Peter Pawlett bagged a double as Aberdeen saw off Falkirk 4-1 at the Falkirk Stadium. 
 
Joe Gormley scored twice as St Johnstone overcame Partick Thistle 3-2 at Firhill and Kilmarnock edged out Hearts 1-0 at Ochilview on Monday.
 
Livingston beat Forfar Athletic 4-2 at Station Park in the Development League East but the game between Alloa Athletic and Raith Rovers was postponed. Berwick Rangers host Stirling Albion this evening.
 
Ayr United top the Development League West after thumping Queen of the South 6-0 at Somerset Park. Morton beat Queen's Park 2-1 at Cappielow, Stranraer won 2-1 away to Albion Rovers and Clyde defeated Airdrieonians 3-1.
