Hamilton Accies moved four points clear at the top of the SPFL Development League with a 2-0 win over Hearts at New Douglas Park on Tuesday.

Andy Ryan (pictured) got both goals as Accies made it five wins and two draws from seven home games this season.

Rangers beat reigning champions Aberdeen 5-2 at Glebe Park on Monday. Ross Lyon and Fraser Aird scored twice for Ian Durrant's side, with Liam Burt also on target. Joe Nuttall netted both goals for the Dons.

Second-placed St Johnstone face Aberdeen at Station Park on Wednesday afternoon, Partick Thistle take on St Mirren at Firhill on Wednesday evening and Rangers meet Dundee United at Murray Park on Thursday.

Hibernian beat Motherwell 2-1 at Ainslie Park with goals from Oliver Shaw and Calum Crane. Luke Watt was on target for Well.

Ross County defeated Kilmarnock 2-1 at the Global Energy Stadium thanks to early goals from Alex Schalk and Adam Frizzell (og). Iain Wilson pulled one back late on for Killie.

Josh Skelly got the only goal as Dundee beat Dunfermline 1-0 at Links Park.

Falkirk and Dundee United drew 0-0 at the Falkirk Stadium.

Stirling Albion moved seven points clear in the Development League East with a 4-0 win over Stenhousemuir.

West leaders Morton didn't play and Ayr closed the gap to a single point by beating Clyde 2-0.
