In Tuesday's matches, Craig Sutherland's hat-trick helped Cowdenbeath thrash Berwick Rangers 6-0 at Shielfield while Stirling Albion came from behind to see off Forfar 3-1 on the Forthbank Astro.
In the West Section, Airdrieonians kept up their 100% record with a 3-2 win over Dumbarton at Murray Park on Monday evening.
Ayr United are second thanks to a 3-2 victory against Queen's Park at Somerset Park on Tuesday and Morton remain unbeaten after a 1-1 draw with Queen of the South at Parklea. Clyde defeated Annan 3-1 at Broadwood in the week's other game.
