Ayr United captain Nicky Devlin has signed a new deal at Somerset Park for the club's forthcoming season in the Ladbrokes Championship.
The 22-year-old former Dumbarton, Motherwell and Stenhousemuir full-back, who joined in July 2014, helped Ian McCall's men clinch promotion via the play-offs.
He told the Ayr website: "I genuinely can’t wait to play and captain this club in the Championship. After we got promoted I had absolutely no interest in going anywhere else.
"It’s going to be a really tough season, however we are going to be playing at some great stadiums against big clubs and I just can’t wait to get started."
