Dundee United came from behind to beat Falkirk 2-1 in a dramatic Premiership play-off semi-final second leg on Friday night.
James Craigen fired Falkirk ahead early on after a good move and the Bairns were still leading going into the last quarter of an hour at the Falkirk Stadium.
Simon Murray got in behind the defence to grab the equaliser and Paul Dixon's 87th-minute header took a deflection off Tom Taiwo and looped up and over keeper Robbie Thomson to seal a 4-3 aggregate success in front of a 7,926 crowd.
Ray McKinnon's men will now face Hamilton Accies or Inverness CT at Tannadice on Thursday May 25, with the return match on Sunday May 28 at 3.00pm.
