Aberdeen have announced the signing of striker Nicky Maynard on a one-year contract following his departure from MK Dons.
The 30-year-old began his career at Crewe and worked under Derek McInnes at Bristol City before spells at West Ham, Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic (loan).
He is the fourth new arrival at Pittodrie this summer after Greg Tansey (Inverness Caley Thistle), Ryan Christie (Celtic, loan) and Greg Stewart (Birmingham City, loan).
McInnes told the Aberdeen website: "He's a player I've worked with before and I'm delighted he's joined. I was keen to add more goal threat to the team and I'm sure Nicky will give us that."
