Aberdeen closed the gap on Premiership leaders Celtic to five points with a 2-1 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday.
Adam Rooney forced the ball home from close range to give Derek McInnes' men the lead but Craig Slater equalised just after half-time.
Cammy Smith restored the Dons' advantage with a 69th-minute header and Slater saw a last-minute penalty saved by Scott Brown to deny Killie a point.
The result also ends Kilmarnock's slim hopes of making the top six and assures Dundee of a place in the top half of the table.
