Celtic booked their place in Friday's draw for the Champions League play-offs thanks to a 0-0 stalemate with Swedish champions Elfsborg on Wednesday night.
Neil Lennon's side went into the second leg with a 1-0 advantage from the first match at Parkhead last week and that Kris Commons goal proved to be decisive.
The match on the artificial surface in the Boras Arena produced few clear-cut chances but Georgios Samaras missed a good opportunity in the first half while Englishman James Keene blazed over late on for the hosts.
Lennon said: "We weren't at our best but it's a brilliant result for us and it gives us a wee bit of time to prepare for the next round as well."
