Dunfermline striker Faissal El Bakhtaoui was thrilled that his first hat-trick sealed the Ladbrokes League 1 title at East End Park on Saturday.
The French-Moroccan forward took his tally for the season to 29 goals as Allan Johnston's men beat Brechin City 3-1 while second-placed Peterhead went down 1-0 at home to Cowdenbeath.
El Bakhtaoui told the Dunfermline website: "It is my first hat-trick for the club and I am so happy. It is an unbelievable day for me and the lads.
"The third goal was a dream and it is the best goal I have ever scored for Dunfermline. I scored two weeks ago at Ayr but this one at home is the best goal I have scored.
"It has been a special season for me and we are all happy to be champions. We got a bit nervous but at half- time the manager spoke to the lads and told us that we could be champions."
