Forfar’s new loan signing from Partick Thistle, striker Chris Duggan, is in line for plenty of game time at Station Park after Loons’ skipper Gavin Swankie was ruled out for at least a fortnight due to a calf problem.
Duggan has joined on an emergency temporary transfer until the end of the season and the 20 year old made a brief appearance as a substitute for Dick Campbell’s side as they went down 5-1 to Airdrie on Saturday.
After 13 goals for the Jags’ under-20 side Duggan could be thrown into things with Campbell saying: “It is disappointing to be without Gavin at this stage of the season however it has opened the door for Chris to be involved. I am sure he will welcome the opportunity.”
