Dumbarton have signed veteran defender Mark McLaughlin following his recent departure from Morton and he could make his debut against his former club at the Bet Butler Stadium today.
The 38-year-old spent several years at both Clyde and Hamilton Accies before joining Morton in the summer of 2012.
Sons boss Ian Murray told the club website: "It was disappointing to lose Aaron (Barry) last week on his return to Sheffield United and we had a gap to fill in the team. Mark became available and he's been training with us this week."
