Dundee have parted company with manager Paul Hartley in the wake of Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Hamilton Accies at Dens Park.
It was a seventh successive loss for the Dark Blues and saw them slip into the relegation play-off place ahead of the post-split fixtures.
Hartley enjoyed success with Alloa before joining Dundee in February 2014. He led them to the Championship title that season and steered the club to sixth then eighth place in the top flight.
He was named Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month for February but has been relieved of his duties after a poor recent run.
Managing director John Nelms said: "I want to thank Paul for his time with the club. Unfortunately, the business we are in, sometimes change is necessary to achieve the goals we have set. I think somebody in the near future is going to get a good, hard-working manager.”
