Dundee boss Paul Hartley has started building his squad for next season's Premiership campaign by signing striker Phil Roberts.
The 20-year-old began his career at Arsenal and had a loan spell with Inverness Caley Thistle in 2012/13.
He signed for Falkirk last summer and scored a hat-trick against Livingston early in the season but left the club at the end of March.
Meanwhile, Dundee have announced that they will play Manchester City in a glamour friendly at Dens Park on Sunday July 13.
Hartley told the club website: "To have a challenge match against a team of the calibre of Manchester City at the beginning of next season shows exactly how big our club have been thinking recently."
