Dundee United have signed 24-year-old Dutch midfielder Rodney Sneijder on a two-year deal following his departure from Almere City.
The brother of Galatasaray's Wesley, he was with Ajax as a youngster and played for Utrecht and RKC Waalwijk before joining Almere in 2014.
Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara told the club website: "I am very happy to sign Rodney. He showed great desire and application whilst training with us during pre-season and will add great quality to our midfield.
“He has a fabulous pedigree and you can see his talent. He will become a fans’ favourite at Tannadice and this signing is a real coup for the club.”
