East Fife sign up Robinson

East Fife manager Gary Naysmith has signed former Hearts and Kilmarnock midfielder Scott Robinson, who was most recently with Dunfermline Athletic.

The Bayview club have also brought in fellow midfielder Tony Wallace, who played for Dumbarton and Morton before a stint at Highland League Nairn County.

Naysmith told the East Fife website: "Both are primarily central midfield players and both have different attributes to the midfielders we already have in the squad and will provide real competition in the centre of the park along with Pat Slattery and Chris Kane.

“That takes our squad up to 18 players and I am more than happy with the transfer business that we have done in the summer window. We will continue to keep our eyes open in case someone comes up who we feel is the right type of player for us but, as things stand, I am more than happy to go into the season ahead with this current group of players.”
