Edinburgh City have signed striker Farid El Alagui until the end of the season after he featured as a trialist against Stirling Albion last weekend.
The 32-year-old former Falkirk, Brentford, Dundee United, Hibernian and Dunfermline forward has been without a club since leaving Ayr United in the summer.
He now links up with James McDonaugh's Ladbrokes League 2 side, who travel to Shielfield on Saturday to play Berwick Rangers.
The City boss told the club website: "Farid is a player who I met while at Hibernian but who first caught my eye scoring so many goals for Falkirk. I think he will be a great addition to the squad with his experience and quality”.
