Elgin & Clyde lead the way in League 2

Elgin City moved to the summit of Ladbrokes League 2 on goal difference following a 4-1 win over Berwick Rangers at Borough Briggs.

Connor McLaren's opener was cancelled out by Ewan McNeil but Ross Drummond's own goal and efforts from Craig Gunn and Mark Nicolson saw Jim Weir's men pick up all three points.

Clyde are second on goal difference after beating Annan Athletic 4-2 at Broadwood. Michael Bolochoweckyj, David Gormley, Scott Linton (penalty) and David Marsh scored for Barry Ferguson's team, with Matty Flynn and trialist Bryan Gilfillan netting for the visitors.

Queen's Park (pictured) thumped East Stirlingshire 5-1 at Hampden with goals from Ryan McGeever, Chris Duggan, Paul Woods (penalty), David Galt and John Carter. Ally Roy replied for Shire, who had Reece Donaldson sent off late on.

Stirling Albion edged out Montrose 1-0 at Forthbank thanks to a Ross McMillan goal midway through the second half. The Binos had Ross McGeachie sent off just after half-time but Ross McCord saw the resulting penalty saved by Chris Smith.

Bottom club Arbroath earned their first victory of the season, Bobby Linn scoring the only goal with 10 minutes left in a 1-0 win at East Fife.
