Elgin City moved up to second place in Ladbrokes League 2 with a 2-1 away win against Edinburgh City on Saturday.
First-half goals from Chris Dodd and Thomas Reilly had Jim Weir's side in command but Dougie Gair pulled one back via the penalty spot for the bottom club.
The game at Meadowbank Stadium was originally scheduled for Christmas Eve but was brought forward at the request of the clubs.
