Elgin City are keeping their fingers crossed that on-loan midfielder Jamie Masson will recover in time to take the field against Queen’s Park tomorrow after being injured in only his first game.
Masson joined the Borough Briggs side last week and played in the 3-1 win over Clyde last Saturday however he picked up a leg knock that has been getting worked on all week by the Pittodrie physiotherapy team.
Manager Ross Jack said: “It will be touch and go with Jamie but it will be a bit of a body blow if we do not have him.”
Elgin defender Antonio Vastano has joined Highland League side Strathspey Thistle on loan until the end of the season.
